HCGL lesson started yesterday and woooo...!! today, we finished lesson 5 already. Yesterday it was lesson 1 (Home Cell Groups) and lesson 2 (The Cell Group Meeting, Part A). The primary reason for having home cell groups in church is for the purpose of fellowship, to provide a biblical environment for members to build solid relationship. Building relationship in cell group is so so important that it kept emphasized in the lessons.

At the end of the lesson, we all were challenged in the areas of being a cgl. yes, i do felt the vision and impression of becoming cgl in last year, but i have a greater passion for ministry now. so i'm still not sure... still unsure in my calling to ministry or cg... haha... it's ok, i'm not ready in either one for now. Just continue to be faithful in serving and doing the things that He has entrusted me first, in both cellgroup and ministry... everything! God spoke to me of this "if you want to be a cgl, do it upon your own connect group first...." somehow sha said something like this to us before. Then He just convicted me that growing my own connect group is actually simply just build relationships and be faithful in doing it. hmmmm.. when this word came to me i was like... yeah... :O

Today, we were being taught lesson 3 (The Cell Group Meeting, Part B) and lesson 5 (The Cell Group Leader). The physical, spiritual aspects of running a cellgroup meeting. Next thursday and friday, we gonna have a graded mock cell group meeting test. omgoat!!! gonna be exciting and cool, but definitely a big challenge! I must really go pray and pray very hard for it.

Also, next tuesday i am going for bv audition, open for choir members. Also, i got to pray and fast really hard for it, and practice my singing skills and songs well too!! omgoat!! Friends, pray for me and the others who going for the audition also yea??

Today (sunday) had a great fellowship with the usual people. Weipin, zhihao, edmund, joshua, gen, vanessa and i. We had our dinner at pasta mania and watched Harold & Kumar at the cathay. It was super lame and funny, quite worth watching. After movie, vanessa left and we went to cafe catel to eat. Huiwen came to join us. It was a great time of fun and laughter! but obviously SOMEONE has been missing from all our gatherings for quite sometime already... well, hope you are ok! hahaha... :))
The time that i spent 1 week once with you all is even more precious than before.

SOT 3rd Week

THIRD WEEK OF SOT
It's really fast! This week has been tremendous with the lessons on The Tabernacles in Going On To Perfection. We learnt about the different stages to go through and furnitures in The Tabernacle. It's not just a knowledge but it really set the way for us on how to come to God, how to come into the Holy of Holies.

The Mercy Seat, which is in the Holy of Holies.

In the Holy of Holies, is a pitch darkness where there is no light at all. There only 1 light which is the glory of God, the Shekinah Glory. So if we want to go into the Holy of Holies, there will be nothing else but God only. There will be nothing else to ask for in there... Do we still want to go there?

I can still remember that pastor said that when the time for Jesus to come back is near, it will be also a time that Tabernacle will be rebuilt. We must look out and be very sharp for the day when Tabernacle is rebuild.

Acts 15:13-19, "... And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written, After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallendown; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; So that the rest of mankindmay seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who are called by my name, Says the Lord who does all these things."

On Friday, Pst Ming also talked about God's mercy for us and how we should show mercy to people. Who am i for Jesus to show such great mercy on... Who am i that Jesus went to the cross for my sins... but Jesus says, "I love you... I love you..." With the mercy that Jesus have for us, we should also show mercy and compassion for other people.

Anyway, this week i got a tuition assignment teaching a primary 4 student. but after teaching 1 lesson on thursday, the parent wanted to terminate me on the same week saturday. Quite discouraging can! but i still gonna pray and trust God for job. It will be a better one with better pay! Amen!!

Monday

Going On To Perfection, Lesson 4.
The Brazen Altar:
It's the altar that the offerings which the people OT will be placed.

5 Offerings sacrificed at the Brazen Altar:
1. The burnt offering
it speaks of us loving God whole heartedly. God wants our body to be a living sacrifice for Him as we go through trials and testings. We are to submit to God our own mind, emotion, strength and direction in life.

2. The meal offering
It speaks about our character, attitude and relationship with people. We need to have a refine character. Our relationship with people should be spirit to spirit. We ought to speak to one another with right attitude and genuine heart. Be mindful of the things we said to one another too.

Col. 4:6
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

3. Peace offering
The peace we have with God and the peace of God.

4. Sin offering

5. Trespass offering
We need to deal with our acts of sins which our sinful nature produces.

The Laver:
To come to God, we need to set ourselves clean and pure in our heart, and help our sheeps to walk in a right path.


We had our first SOT team outing on monday to Mind's cafe!! It was fun with all the games and fellowship. We were super high there la!! scream and scream only... lols! :D

SOT 2nd Week

SECOND WEEK OF SOT
So fast it's the end of the 2nd week! Basically, this week we had lesser ministering. We were taught more in the Word.

Monday
FT2
Lesson 6, How To Be Led By The Spirit
Lesson 7, What The Holy Spirit Produces In Us
by Pst Zhuang.
Even everytime we learn that Holy Spirit is a person who will speak to us. But most of the time, we still don't understand or can't really relate to the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is our HELPER, someone called alongside to help us. Holy Spirit is IN & WITH US! - we can access to God 24 hours a day. We must learn to depend on Him in our decision-making every areas of our life. Holy Spirit gives us POWER, LOVE, SOUND MIND. Because we are Christians who have all these, we can have the LIFE OF GOD in us!

After that, Pst Zhuang asked us to practice how to be led by the Spirit. We need to find a partner whom we do not know, total stranger. We named ourselves 1 & 2. The 1st person will began to start off by praying in the Sprit to wait for Holy Spirit to prompt and speak to us a word of our partner. Then we began to spoke the word about their lives. After the 1st person finished, the 2nd person will do the same thing to the 1st person. And this went 2 rounds which we will apporoach another partner for the 2nd round. The 3rd round was slightly different, which we were to give a word from the Bible scripture.

So for me, the first 2 partners gave me almost the same word, which said something like God knows that I love Him... so on... i just felt the assurance from God and the presence of God was so strong and i just teared. The word of 3rd person also encourages me, but hmmm i can't really remember what's the verse already. hahaha... ooops!

Next, he got some volunteers in front to practice laying of Hands. I learnt that laying of hands, we need to be really sensitive to the Holy Spirit and we need to carry the power of God. Most importantly, we must keep ourselves clean and right in our lives so that we won't impart the wrong things to the people. As we keep doing it, the flow will begin to come and power of God will begin to move more.

Saturday
In the morning it was zone manhood and womanhood meeting at riverwalk. As usual i was doing the chorus board, operating the slides. At the end was the ministering part for those who felt dry spiritually, having hurts and unforgiveness in their lives. The presence of God just moves so strongly when darryl began to lay hands on the people. Even i was still doing the chorus board, i just teared in the strong presence of God.

I'm still excited from Dr. Kim Sung Hae service! It was awesome. Just a simple message which actually i was trying very hard to understand her words, probably it's not even preaching but sharing of her life, The journey of her life. It's all about having faith, trust and prayer.. and in God we can be a happy person! At the end of service, I could sense the love of God as i praise Him with the lyrics of the 2 songs. The presence of God was so strong that i teared. i was reminded about the journey that i walked with God all these years, the goodness of God.

Sunday
I went for Dr kim service again in the morning. It was talking about the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who give us power to do everything.
1. Holy Spirit give us the power to build good relationship with people.
2. Holy Spirit give us the power to receive heavenly wisdom.
3. Holy Spirit give us the power to heal every sickness and disease.
4. Holy Spirit give us the power to become a strong witness of Christ.

SOT 1st week

FIRST WEEK OF SOT
It's just the first week of SOT and i am really inspired, touched, transformed. The discipline to wake up early everyday. Yea, you all may think that i am too much ah, live so near church still say wake up early. lols! But even i am just 10 minutes away from church, isn't it still early to wake up 7.15am everyday when im not someone who sleep early. A lot of the times as we were having lessons, we were struggling to keep ourselves awake.

Everyday was really tremendous! 8.45am-1pm Monday-Friday. Half of the day, we will praise and worship God, prayer school, ministering sessions by pastors, and another half of the day we will spend in the word of God.

It's a time that i really getting more hungry and in love with God. We will just worship and worship. Learning to put away physical struggles, press in to the Holy Spirit and we got filled by the Holy Spirit, overflowing. EVERYDAY... fall under the power of God, holy laughter, tears flowing down like don't know what etc... delieverance, laying of hands... WOW!!

Monday
First day-Orientation day!! Ran around Singapore under a crazy hot weather, Have loads of team games and free steamboat at chomp pang at the end of the day. Team 21 got 3rd prize for the games. $20 attribute vouchers each person.

Tuesday
Sessions with Pastor Derek. First day to push us into prayers and worship.

Wednesday
Sessions with Pastor Derek. He gave an altar call and laid hands of us.

Thursday
Sessions with Pastor Meng. When he is there teaching the Word, i will never fall asleep. Ministering session and deliverance session was awesome.

Friday
Sessions by Pastor Meng and Pastor Tan. Pastor Tan said that for moving in the Holy Spirit will be Pastor Derek, love-Pastor Meng, controvesial things-himself. lols.. Today is more on teaching of the word. Q&A session with Pst Tan about Holy Spirit and gifts.


Everyday even as we have to struggle physically to wake up early... the sacrifices we make and burdens we have just to come SOT.. like financial, family, work etc... but when we start to praise and worship God, having lessons, fellowship, we will just feel so refreshed and touched... know that God will take us through, no need to worry!! :))

For this whole week, some of the words really impressed my heart. I felt that God spoke to me about having greater faith, obedience, discipline and confidence. Faith in God for provision and the things that He called me to do. Obedience to do what He want me to do even it seems impossible to make it happen. Discipline to have an orderly life, and to read Bible and pray everyday. Confidence in myself and in Holy Spirit. Also, the visions and promises that He's with me as i walk with Him, even in tough times. My willingness to be led by the Holy Spirit, not doing things by my own strength.

The SOT orientation today has filled with the games of Human Monopoly. For the whole day we ran to different parts of Singapore. It was super tiring, but still fun! At last, we all got treated to steamboat dinner at chomp pang. Also, my team won the 3rd prize for today's activities!!!

Yesterday, zone night cycling was really fun! we cycled from 11 plus to 4 am, 40 plus km, from east coast to changi. it was really tiring and butt was pain la. We cycled in cg, but somehow most cg were moving together or somewhere we will meet one another. My cg had 7 friends altogether, and 5 of them are mine. so it was as we were cycling towards changi, it was exciting and great. we would all move together, encourage one another, had a lot of laughter even though we were all tired. somewhere in the middle, we took breaks. Then all cg stopped at changi village at 5 plus to have breakfast together and we cycled back from changi back to east coast.

So it was when we were traveling back, everyone was really really tired. the route back to east coast was only 8km, but it seemed like 100 to us. it was the time that all of us just go by our own, forgetting about cg members and friends, just determined to reach east coast asap. lols... Me and adora and some people really chiong all the way. just when it was my last 1km or so, i skidded and fell. bruises all over my body la... my knee, toes, hip, thigh, elbow of both hands, palm. when i fell, nobody was with me... adora was all the way infront of me so she doesn't know, and the people behind me were too too far apart nowhere to be seen. so i just got up and move on. we were the first few to reach, out of the 40 plus people.

Monday - was the first training after 2 weeks of rest. there are muscle aches and blue-black even though i didn't really did much.

This afternoon i went to gym with raymond and chen cheng. i jogged 2 times , each with the distance of 1km. weeee~ i did altogether 60 sit-ups... and other more... after gym session, we met up with edmund for dinner.

our dinner was the most lame part of the day.

At first, we went to mos burger (raffles city), but there was no seats. ok... then we were quite craving for buffet, so we decided to find a place with buffet. we went to
sakae sushi (citylink, then feel like eating something else..)
--> seoul garden (marina square, no dinner buffet)
--> yuki yaki (marina square, no dinner buffet)
--> sakae sushi (marina square, no buffet)
--> sakae sushi (citylink)
decide to stick with that as we were very hungry. so we waited in the queue happily for almost 30 min and finally got our seats. then to our horror, THERE WAS NO BUFFET AT THAT OUTLET!!!

yesterday night i had a dream about someone.
i hope that even i do see you somewhere one day,
i won't react the way i reacted in my dream...
but actually in my heart i hope that i won't see you again.
i had let go and forgiven.
