I did what i have not done before.
My faith in God increased.
My capacity has increased.
My connect group grows.

Sometimes i grow weary and discouraged, but i will never give up this walk...
I will continue to fight on.

This week has been an encouraging week for me. Many different occassions and people shared about the love of God over us. It really bless me a lot. Many times we just serve and serve, care for our members. We know that God loves our members, but God loves and cares for us even more. when we do so much for other people, God cares for our needs and lives as well. But we will just forgotten the love of God in our own lives.

Today during prayer meeting, faji shared about how God pursued us with his love. It's like when a guy likes a girl. This guy will do everything for the girl to woo her, but the girl may not have any response.. yet this guy is willing to put so much effort for the person he likes. So it's like God loves us so much and he keep pursuing us even when times that we are unfaithful or rebellion towards Him. He's still persuing us with His love... That's His faithfulness and love for us!

My cg just had a re-shuffle on the connect groups... For mine, my 3 usual members are still with me, added 3 new members, 1 friend. Though i keep feeling so uncertain about how to really win their hearts, but God keep on reminding me that he's there beside me in whatever i do. i'm feeling burden for them. All of them are not easy. but i wanna believe that love of God will flow as i began to talk to them.

Thank sha for your words of encouragement and affirmation yesterday. All those things that she told me, actually i didn't really feel myself as that before that. She said that i have the spirit of gentleness and it's my gift. During service altar call, i walked down to the altar call with one of my member's friend. As i was talking to this friend, sha was beside me and sha felt the love of God in the atmosphere. I literally didn't feel it. so these are the positive... Then the negative ones... She told me about my weaknesses in communication and language skills, and how can i improve and work on it. I really need to work hard on it.

Yesterday, i had a nice outing and fellowship with my members.. There were rovson, alvin, yong long, yong he, eric, ming zhen, lorraine, adora and myself! We went to orchard and shop. Never buy anything but we spent money on food! haha! Definitely a wonderful and quality time with them.

Today was quite fruitful too. Adora and i went to RP to tutor our brothers in their studies. We spent time with them. They're having their N'level prelim tomorrow. Hope they can do well!

加油！！

tomorrow is tuesday already... got to start "做工"！hahahaha!! i have a lot of people in mind to meet and call... With God, i can do it!!

Yesterday after cgm, we had cogls discipleship meeting. i just felt so touched by what sha shared. As a connect group leader, i need to see myself strong.. i need to really spend time in the presence of God... a place that it's only me and God... i don't need to pray for anyone else i did struggle somehow in my thoughts and feelings.

"As leaders, we can begin feel empty in our heart as we don't spend time for ourselves... just keep on giving love... "

Sometimes i did feel it that way. What's really important is not whether how good are we or connect group growing or not. but it's really GETTING OUR LOVE FOR GOD RIGHT. when we begin to experience the love of God ourselves everyday, then we can begin to genuinely pour out the love to our members.

Anyway, SOT is ending in about 6 weeks time! So fast! i hope time can go slower now... :D

Yesterday (sunday) went out with phileo, jason, emil, regina and sharon. Had a great and fun fellowship with them! We went to eat at the 99cents sushi restaurant at The Cathay, then after that we went to starbucks to chill. We sat down and talked all the lame and cold jokes... but we were laughing like mad there! yeah!! :D

Today, had a outing with some of my SOT team members... Chloe, adora, yvonne yeo, jingming, alex, bernard and i. We went to watch this movie together, Wanted. It was not bad! :) after movie, we went for shopping w/o chloe. We had a great session of fun and laughter. because when we were at far east, the gals keep going into shops to try shoes, esp yvonne, while the guys are there complaining and waiting for us to eat dinner. :))

This whole week it's really great to have Pst Mike Connell ministering n teaching us in SOT! We went through 4 days of deliverance... All the demons were trembling under the power and authority of God. Seeing our fellow brothers and sisters being set free. it was really tremendous. Man!! i gonna miss this week a lot la...

i didn't go through all the manifestations of screaming n yelling... don't know why... but there are few times during the altar call... i jus cried and cried and cried, more like mourning... let go all my hurts and fears. Afterwards, i felt the peace and love of God just flow. We had a long great time of Holy Laughter after the deliverance sessions. keep laughing and laughing... lols!

Today as pst was asking us to imagine ourselves as the leper in the Bible who was rejected and feeling so unclean, coming before Jesus, and Jesus was so full of compassion and healed him and accepted him. love of God flow so strongly and filled the entire hall. I saw Jesus hugging me and spoke to me, "im always here by your side." just keep walking and walking, he was always there beside me.
